Graves County Economic Development (GCED) is pleased to salute sponsors of the Student of the Month awards presented by the Mayfield/Graves County Area Technology Center (ATC) during the 2026/2027 school year.
Each month during the school year, the ATC presents awards to one outstanding student from each career pathway, with a total of 5 – 9 students recognized each month. These generous sponsors underwrite the cost of the awards.
The sponsors include:
“It’s exciting for the ATC to highlight the accomplishments of our students,” said ATC Principal Josh Heisner. “Recognition builds self-confidence, boosts motivation, and strengthens the culture in our classrooms. We are grateful to the sponsors who help make this recognition possible.”
GCED President Jason Lemle agrees: “Recognition is critical as we continue working to emphasize the value of technical skills and build our future workforce. These outstanding students work hard and deserve to be celebrated. We truly appreciate the businesses who sponsor these awards and support our Power in Partnership throughout the school year.”
Power in Partnership is a workforce development program for high school students that brings professionals to the classroom to share expertise and offer career advice, offered through a collaboration between the ATC and GCED.
