The City of Mayfield, the Graves County Fiscal Court, Graves County Economic Development (GCED), and other community partners came together for a remote worker program in partnership with MakeMyMove to attract new residents to our community. The program has now attracted three movers to Mayfield and Graves County.
Our program has received over 400 applicants on MakeMyMove’s website with nearly 80 approved applicants. 12 offers have been made, with these new movers being our first to accept. Our page on MakeMyMove’s website has made over 150,000 impressions from over 85,000 unique users. Over 10,000 potential movers viewed our page, with over 9,000 clicks and over 1,000 likes on our page. There is an increase in the frequency of applicants confirmed to be eligible for the program and in the percentage of eligible applicants who receive offers.
The Mayor of Mayfield Kathy O’Nan is happy to see this program’s progress.
“We are excited to welcome a new resident to our community. This town has so many wonderful assets, opportunities, and people, so it’s no wonder why our community is receiving so much interest. This community has a kind and welcoming heart that continues to grow as we recover and build back from the storm.”
Graves County Judge Executive Jesse Perry spoke on the community’s advantages for attracting newcomers.
“Our community has done so much to prepare Mayfield and Graves County for growth: high-speed internet availability, a friendly tax environment, and so much more that helps to welcome new residents. It’s great to see that this partnership is leading to new growth as we continue rebuilding.”
GCED President Jason Lemle celebrates the community partners that came together for this effort.
“The collaboration of multiple community partners makes this program with MakeMyMove possible. We are glad to see that the Mayfield and Graves County community is receiving interest from potential movers that can help our community to grow and thrive.”
