Mayfield and Graves County provides some of the best schools in the nation.

Once you arrive in Mayfield and Graves County you will quickly learn that we are a town that loves football. While considered cross-town rivals, both the Mayfield Cardinals and the Graves County Eagles, are a huge part of the pride that we take in our athletic community. The "Battle of The Birds" is a yearly game that brings people near and far to celebrate our roots with a friendly rivalry. Football has a long-standing history and following, but each of our schools' excel in other areas of sports including basketball, baseball, volleyball, track, soccer, cheerleading and much more. Within each school, you can find what interests you. While we pride ourselves on athletics we take a far greater pride in the academic excellence that each of these schools maintain each year.
