Job Description:

  • Coordinates all outreach efforts in the assigned region to prompt Sullivan University’s academic programs.
  • Speaks to community and educational leaders to promote the university and to find ways to assist with their community’s education needs.
  • Holds office hours at the learning site two days per week to hold the learning site open.  Schedule to be determined in conjunction with the director.
  • Answers the phone and assists callers with inquiries.
  • Meets with prospective students, their parents, etc., to answer questions about programs, enrollment, etc.
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of and ensures compliance with all applicable corporate, state, and federal regulations and policies for admissions.
  • Strictly adheres to the provisions of the SUS Code of Conduct.
  • Collaborates with the Sullivan University Vice President for Admissions, Sr. Director of Admissions, and the Associate Director of Admissions for Online toward growing enrollment through the learning site.
  • Assists potential students with connecting with online admissions and financial planning personnel.
  • Facilitates in-office conferences between the prospect and an online admissions and financial planning professional.
  • Assists students with learning to utilize the LMS and helps facilitate student comfort with the use of an LMS.
  • Assists students with textbook ordering.
  • Assists with interfacing with local officials as necessary to resolve any issues that arise.
  • Represents Sullivan University at local events.
  • Successfully completes all new-hire and ongoing training courses.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree required. • Three years related experience. • An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered. • Ability and willingness to periodically visit Louisville or Lexington for training. • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. • Must possess excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills. • Knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as student information systems and lead management systems. • Proficient knowledge of corporate, state, and federal regulations and policies applicable to the position. • Ability to sit for extended periods of time and to move about the facilities of the learning site. • Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and community representatives, both in-person and via the telephone.
