GCED Receives $15,000 Grant from U.S. Bank Foundation

Mayfield, Kentucky June 8, 2025 – Graves County Economic Development (GCED), a nonprofit organization that works to generate economic growth in Mayfield and Graves County, today announced it has received a $15,000 grant from the U.S. Bank Foundation. The funding will be used in support of GCED’s mission to improve quality of life by helping retain and expand existing business and industry and attracting companies that invest in the community and provide good jobs.
“Creating opportunities for our community requires resources, and we appreciate the support from the U.S. Bank Foundation, which helps us continue to build and expand the innovative programs we’re proud to offer,” said Jason Lemle, GCED president.
GCED also works with local education and training partners to provide innovative programs that help students prepare to succeed in the workplace and to help adults gain the skills and experience necessary to pursue the economic opportunities our community has to offer.
