Job Description:

The Purchase Area Development District is seeking an individual to fill the position of Obligations Coordinator for the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). The Obligations Coordinator is responsible for managing the financial process of funding obligations and accurately tracking customer expenses the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program.

 The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, database management experience and maintain a valid driver’s license.

 Responsibilities include but will not be limited to monitoring the accuracy of obligations and de-obligations submitted, submitting obligations reports, reviewing training requests, preparing authorization documentation for customer purchases, assisting with the preparation of all WIOA reports, and contacting training institutions regarding customer expenses.

Skills/Keywords:
Skills needed include knowledge of workforce activities, excellent verbal and written communication, self-direction and excellent organizational skills, efficiency and attention to detail, and the ability to relate appropriately to coworkers and other professionals. Knowledge of or ability to learn and effectively utilize program related computer software required. The PADD offers an attractive compensation program and is an EOE/AA/ADA employer.
