Regional economic directors featured at chamber breakfast

Hutson Inc. flagship location holds groundbreaking

Hutson Inc. and Graves County Economic Development joined special guests for a groundbreaking ceremony on September 22. This ceremony celebrated the start of construction for the state of the art 50,000 square-foot Hutson John Deere Dealership in Mayfield.

PRCO America Inc. Opens Plant in Mayfield

PRCO America, Inc began production in their first manufacturing plant in the USA last week.
At full production, the plant will produce 50,000-60,000 tons of resin bonded refractory products for the steelmaking industry. This represents a reshoring of U.S. jobs lost in the 1990’s and will employ approximately 50 people at full production.

WKRECC donation supports economic development

West Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation (WKRECC) recently donated $15,000 to Graves County Economic Development (GCED) to support its mission to retain, expand and attract quality manufacturing, distribution, and service industries to Graves County. Delta Regional Authority (DRA) has named 33 community leaders from all eight DRA states as fellows of the 2022 Delta Leadership Institute (DLI) Executive Academy.
